I wanted to email to say thank you.

It seems a long time ago now when I first met you and I started the search for a wedding dress.  I am not what I would call a girlie girl, I don't own lots of dresses and I am more a jeans and trainers person.  However, from the moment I met you both you put me at ease and your excitement about the choice of dress was contagious.  I really appreciated the time you both took to ensure I got the right dress, and felt confident about my choice.

The dress was beautiful and perfect in everyway.  I got married on 17th April 2010, to Mike, and we had the best day of our lives. 

I have attached  a few photos, these are pictures a friend took, however, in the official photos the dress looks even more stunning.

Thank you so much for your help and for making me feel so special everytime I visited you to try on the dress.

Firstly thank you to Zowie and Jackie for helping me find my dress – I was extremely nervous when I first came down to the shop as I look a lot younger than I am!

Zowie you made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. I came to the shop without any real ideas of the style of dress that I wanted – you both knew exactly what type of dress would suit my size and shape, every dress that I tried on made me feel a million dollars!

I can remember putting my dress on and loving it but thinking that it was far too sexy for me and a church wedding but the alterations that you suggested really made the dress mine – you picked up on my style and personality and made the dress show it off too! Everyone at the wedding commented on the dress and how gorgeous it made me look.

I really looked forward to coming down and trying my dress on and having my fittings, your shop is like a little haven – so calm and stunningly decorated – I was sad when I finally collected my dress as I knew that I wouldn’t be coming back. I will definitely be recommending you to all of my friends and family as they become engaged, hopefully I will be able to come back to the shop and help them find their dresses and let them have the experiences that you gave me.

I went to your shop after having a failed attempt at finding something the day before in Maidstone.  I was feeling like the wedding dress I had in my head only existed there and I was not going to find what I want or my thought was, I was not conveying to people what I wanted in the right way??
 
On Sunday it was pouring down with rain and I thought that surely that this is not a good sign.  However, on entering the shop I was made to feel like I was the most important bride to ever walk through the door.  I explained what I wanted and I got the feeling I was being understood!  The very first dress I tried on which was your "gut instinct" as the perfect dress was indeed everything I had imagined.  I categorically said veils do not suit me and that I would never entertain trying one on.....how wrong I was.  The dress and veil looked amazing.  It's all I have thought about for the last couple of days and really and truely am so excited to wear it for my big day.
 
Not only that the perfect bridesmaid dress was also found in an instant to compliment what I had picked.
I can't thank you enough - you really have made me a very happy bride to be.

I got to try on loads of different styles of dress as i wasn't sure which 'look' i was going for. Jackie was so patient and helpful it made the whole experience wonderful. As i slipped on the last dress, i knew i had found the 'one'! Talking to Jackie and Zowie and popping in and out of the shop was so easy that they seemed like friends rather than shop assistants. The alterations were done to such a high standard it was unbelievable and once finished was steam cleaned to look 100%. Zowie, first I want to say sorry for taking so long to get in touch after experiencing one of the best days of my life (my daughter being born the first!). I first visited back in April, and it being the first shop I’d been and the first time I’d ever been shopping for wedding dresses I felt obliged to give other places a chance. I needn’t have bothered. I returned to you a month ago and purchased the most gorgeous dress for my wedding in January 2012. Thank you so much for making mine (and my best friend – who also bought a dress from you that very same day) such a wonderful experience. On Saturday 27th March 2010 I had my best ever shopping experience!  That was the  afternoon I had my appointment at Signature Brides and it was a day I won't ever forget.  I was actually quite nervous beforehand because I'm not a very 'girly' girl and was completely convinced that I was going to be a very awkward customer!  I really shouldn't have worried.  Zowie looked after me, put me completely at ease and within half an hour I was actually enjoying trying dresses on!  Zowie was also brilliant at recognising what would suit me and my confidence grew further when I saw how I looked in that first dress - I was stunned!  (The real bonus was that I looked like I had a small waist - which was a first for me!  I was so happy!)  But it was the second dress that turned out to be 'the one' - wearing it just felt so fantastic.  So thank you to Zowie for being so welcoming and for being so good at your job!  Your enthusiasm is infectious (it must be if you managed to get me excited about dress shopping!)

Finally, just remembered, I don't think I gave you a final update on our wedding date/venue!!  We have now booked Winters Barns for Friday 5th November (2010) i.e. one day earlier than the original date that I told you but I'm assuming one day doesn't make a difference your end.

I just wanted to say a very BIG thank you for Saturday 1st May! It was my first time trying on any wedding dresses and you made it so much fun and memorable. I was very nervous on the drive down to Hythe from Bexleyheath, but you made me, my mum and best friend feel so welcome. Thank you for helping me find "the dress" (I am so excited) and didn't want to take it off!!! Even though it was my first bridal shop I visited, I didn't want to go anywhere else. We all couldn't believe how passionate you both are about your work.

I wanted to say a personal thanks to Jackie, who made me feel so comfortable ever since the first time we spoke on the phone and it just went from there.

Its Emma here from Saturday 13th March.  I just wanted to let you know that I was completely over whelmed by the experience I had whilst at your shop.  I came in with my mother and mother in law to be and had a fantastic 2 hours with you, which I was surprised at as I didn’t expect it to be so long.  When arriving I was very nervous as I think that I am a young bride and that people would find it amusing, however as soon as I stepping into your shop I felt completely as ease and as if there was no pressure on me at all.  After looking through the dresses, Zowie already had many dresses in mind for me, after explaining what I was looking for, and after trying on three dresses I found the one.  I am completely amazed that in a space of two hours I had found my perfect dress, and all the accessories to go with it.  Zowie has an amazing eye for detail and knows exactly what will look fantastic with each dress.  I cannot believe how easy and completely stress-free your service is, and you should completely pride yourself in what you all do as you are all amazing!
 
Just to let you know, that as soon as the money is available I will be in with my mother to order my dress! And my mother in law is going to buy to accessories!
 
I cannot wait to try my dress on again!!

Hi Zowie

I visited Signature Brides because of the outstanding reputation Zowie and Jacky have as experts in their field - and I can now talk from experience that that is more than deserved.

Zowie devoted a Friday afternoon to me and I came in out of the pouring rain in Hythe to a very warm welcome.

Armed with a head of ideas and a folder full of cuttings from newspapers and magazines that had taken my eye, we talked over a cup of tea first about the developing wedding plans and my thoughts on my perfect dress.

Of course, I had an idea of what I assumed it would look like. Plain and simple with some statement jewellery pieces - my usual style.

Obviously, with emerging thoughts of what she believed would bring out the best in me, Zowie encouraged me to travel along the rails of dresses she has in her boutique to pull out those I was interested in as well as selecting some herself. After sharing some of her extensive knowledge and offering some refreshingly honest advice, I was confident to head into the changing room with the small cross section of gowns.

When it came to choosing which first, there was one I was curious to try. Zowie had picked it out. It was beautiful, a real show stopper, but I didn't think I had the figure or the presence to carry it off.

Zowie finished the look with a choker, vintage hair piece and veil. I hesitated before turning to face the mirror.

As I did so the vision before me genuinely took my breath away. I had that wow moment that many brides talk about. I was astounded at how I looked.

We both agreed it was going to be difficult to beat that Jonathan James gown - and we didn't. That is The One and I brought it off the peg that afternoon.

I had hoped I would have a magical experience when choosing and buying my dress, and I did because I put myself in the hands of Signature Brides. From the moment you put your trust in them, they share and enhance your joy in the run up to your special day. Their passion and enthusiasm are infectious.

I had chosen to go solo on my wedding dress search as the person I would have wanted there, my gorgeous Mum, passed away in 2007. I want to say a very personal thank you to Zowie and Jacky for ensuring my time with them was such a wonderful moment and one I will always treasure.

My dress is hanging in the spare room at home, from where the groom-to-be is now banned. I have undone the zip of the dress cover more than once and peeked in and I cannot begin to express my excitement.

I know I will feel incredible on 17 July and cannot wait to see the groom's reaction when he turns around to see me.

I am so looking forward to going back to see Zowie and Jacky in May when the fruits of my diet and fitness regime should mean the dress will need a little alteration.

I cannot praise or recommend Signature Brides enough and suggest any bride-to-be makes them her first choice. I guarantee there will be no need to go anywhere else afterwards and their involvement will make your day all the more special.

Finally got around to writing this, so looking forward to seeing you all again on 5th March :-)

I keep dreaming about the dress and constantly trying to think of possibilities for the bow and diamonte!!

I had always been worried that going to a bridal shop may be an intimidating experience and be conned into spending a small fortune.

After seeing Zowie at The Detling Wedding Fayre and having an extensive talk, there was no doubt in my mind that Signature would be my 1st port of call when searching for a dress.

I was keen to find my dress quite early on in the planning stages but I certainly didn’t bank on it being the 1st one I ever tried on!!

On my 1st trip to the shop I travelled from my home in Maidstone with my mum in tow on a cold December afternoon. I learned that Zowie was unwell but mum and I received the warmest reception from her beautiful mum Jacky & sister Carly.

We had a good talk about my ideas although I tried to keep an open mind at the same time. Just from our discussion I already trusted Jacky 100%, I was made to feel so at ease, it was like these ladies were people I’d known for years.

Jacky asked my budget and then let me choose some dresses I would like to try on. Then she asked if I minded trying something that she had in mind, needless to say this in fact is now my dress!!

From the moment the material was against my skin I instantly fell in love with it and then as I emerged from behind the curtain I saw my mum well up with tears. Standing in front of the mirror I had that magical feeling inside that I can only liken to the 1st time I held my daughter!!

I was however a little concerned that as it was the 1st dress I might get the same feeling with any I tried after!! I must have tried on another 6 dresses and although all were gorgeous (there is not a bad dress in the shop!) there was just something special about the 1st dress, almost like it was actually made for me. The colour, the cut, Jacky had known it was the one just by looking at me.

Mum and I were in their for a good 2 hours, running through different customisation ideas, not once did we feel rushed or pressured into making a final decision.

On my 2nd visit to the shop I took my bridesmaid along as well as mum as I just wanted to be 100% sure. This time Zowie was back (along with the beautiful Jodie) but it was Jacky’s day off.

Trying the dress on once more and seeing my bridesmaid in tears confirmed everything. There was total continuity between the mother and daughter team and I could tell that Jacky must have gone through everything we had previously discussed in detail with Zowie.

The Signature ethos is exactly how shopping for a wedding dress should be. These ladies are clearly at the top of their game; they must know their stock like the back of their hands and make the whole experience so very personal.

They genuinely care for you and I will be so proud to say I am a ‘Signature Bride’.

It's been a few weeks since I came to signature brides and I still can't quite believe how easy it was to find the perfect dress or that both yourself and Jacky correctly predicted what dress I would buy before I'd even put it on!

Signature brides was the first shop I visited and I really didn't expect to walk away that day knowing I'd choosen THE dress and I especially didn't expect it to be the first dress you picked out for me! Planning the wedding so far has been good fun but hard work and a little stressful at tims so thankyou for making finding my wedding dress so easy and such an enjoyable experience. I first saw you at the Eastwell Manor wedding fayre back in Feb time and thought it was far too early to start booking dress appointments but after speaking to Zowie she reassured me that I will find my dream dress with Signature Brides and so I booked to come see you in September. I then saw you at many fayres and every time you made me more and more excited for my appt, by the time September came I just couldn't wait.  You were so accommodating esp when I brought an army of people with me as everyone wanted to come see me find my perfect dress and to see you guys. By the time I came, it felt like I had known you both for years. The experience was just perfect - you shop is so warm and welcoming and really shows you to your best. Jacky you allowed me to roam free round your shop picking out a few dresses that I liked and also placed a few of your choices in the dressing room, whilst trying on you knew I was little conscious but made me feel so relaxed. After trying on one final dress real quick before it was time to go, I just couldn't decide between two beautiful dresses and so you allowed me to come back for a second visit. This time Zowie was there and once I tried on the 'one' you couldn't have been more complimentary and said 'thats it'! A few tears from my Mum and bridesmaids, I knew that I had found my perfect dress and just cant wait to come back in April for the fittings.  You truly made the whole experience so special and I cant thank you both enough - I am so happy to say I am a Signature Bride :)

I wanted to say a massive thank you for finding me my gorgeous dress! When I first emailed the shop it was after a very disheartening trawl round London for wedding dresses - no samples in anything near a size I could try on - when I said this in the email, Zowie replied saying I should come down and meet you - so I did! Two of my bridesmaids came with me and we made a day out of it - lunch at the fish restaurant and a walk along the sea - to make it worth the drive. It would have been worth it without the lunch too! When I walked in, you asked what I was looking for and after telling you a few things I do and dn't like, you picked out 4 dresses. I was slightly dubious at first as I had said I didn't want strapless and all of the dresses you chose were strapless! The first one was lovely, the second one was THE ONE! You made a very quick halterneck and it completely changed the dress - thank you so much for knowing what would look good on me!! I almost cried when I saw myself in it and my bridesmaids now tell anyone who will listen that I have a stunning dress!! I can't wait until February when I get to try it on again and have it fitted. It truly is a stunning dress and I would have bypassed it if looking by myself, just because it was strapless! I would recommend you to anyone who asks - without any reservation - thank you for your time and knowledge and kindness.

Hi, its been a while since I, or should I say you, found THE dress for me, but, I just wanted to say a great big thank you. I have been meaning too for a while and have finally got round to it!!

I have been recommending you to everyone who mentions their getting married. I felt so special in your shop, and loved every minute - for someone that hates wearing dresses that is saying something! I still can't believe that MY dress :) was the first one that I tried on, one that you suggested. I wasn't convinced at first as it wasn't what I thought I wanted, but once it was on I couldn't stop smiling - neither could my sister  (Francesca) when she saw.

Because it was the first dress and first shop I went to, I just wanted to make sure, so I visited a few other shops and wished I hadn't. They didn't even compare, a Large shop in Ashford left me feeling horrible, the service was non existant, it was like going to new look to try on a pair of jeans!- they didnt even help me do my dress up properly! I was lucky as I knew I had signiture brides to go back to and I knew what this experience should  be like. I feel sad for all those brides that may never get, or never had the experience I did with signiture brides - IT WAS PERFECT.

As I had my heart on trying this dress I was relived when finding a stockists you said it was not a problem for you to retrieve it for me to try.

So my mum mother in law to be and Nan made our way down to Hythe on high expectations of this dress.  Unfortunately this dress was amazing but not for me but was a guide for Zowie who then knew what I liked and the style of dress I was looking for.  Zowie then worked her magic, with fantastic knowledge and experience we found what we thought was the perfect dress.  It
was going to be customised to my choice with added extras all put together by Zowie, I was very happy.

After a long period with Zowie who gave me 110% of her time honesty and experience I left Signature brides feeling on top of the world. Being my first experience of trying dresses even zowie encouraged me to visit other stores and try other dresses as she was confident that I would come back.  I took there advice but out of all the other stores it just never felt quite like my experience at signature brides and I made my decision without a second thought that I would find my perfect dress there. Having went back four months later Zowie still remembered everything we discussed and went through previously and it felt like I had been there
yesterday. It just so happened that I found another fantastic dress that was not there prior to my last visit and it was perfect with a capital "P"  Once again Zowie Jackie and Zowies sister sorry I forgot your name) were amazing in every way.  My expectation of good service has been for filled and I am extremely pleased with my dress and was so pleased to have shared my dress at signature brides.

Once again Thank you so much for all your help advice and for making my experience with you perfect.

I just wanted to thank you so much for helping me find my dress on Tuesday.  I had lots of fun and was so pleased with the outcome!

'After meeting Zoe and Jacky at a wedding fayre I knew that when i was ready to start looking for my dress I wanted them to help me.  Having just had a baby i wasn't feeling my most confident and was dreading squeezing into dresses but Zowie made me feel so comfortable.  Zowie and Jacky were honest about what suited me and what didnt, and they accessorized the dresses to help me see what they would like on the day.  I felt like I was in my front room with my friends I just wish i could do it again!!!!!!'.

I came in on Saturday to have my first wedding dress shop and wanted to say how thankful I am for all your help and for finding me the perfect dress!

I met you firstly at Detling wedding show and the help and advice I got that day was great! I knew I was going to see people that generally wanted to make you look amazing and would help you in every way!! As soon as we walked in you made me feel at ease and were all so friendly and helpful!! I had no idea of what would suit me and this was no problem at all in fact you all seemed to get more excited as it meant I could try on all the different styles!! You allowed me to try on loads of different dresses and add the finishing touches!! Im so glad that I met you at Detling show as otherwise I would have probably not made the hr trip and ended up at another shop with loads of brides!!

Thanks you so much for all your help I truly felt like a princess!! I will definitely be recommending you to all my friends and family!!

Dear Zowie and Jacky,

Thank you for helping me find my dream wedding dress. After visiting over 5 different bridal shops and having a bad experience in most of them. In one shop I had been left to dress myself!, Another I was not given shoes, petticoat or pins to look at the dress properly, I was told just to hold it up. I was beginning to think this was the way you brought your wedding dress until I came to your shop.
 
I had met you both before at a wedding Faye and you had said you would find my dream dress. I came armed to your shop with Mum and Sister Kelly,you made use feel we were the only customers of the day as there was no rush at all. As soon as I walked through the door you said you had a dress in mind but wanted me to have a look so we tried on some dresses I picked. The first few dresses I liked but didn't love.Then we came to the dress you had picked. I tried it on and felt like a princess you had looked at my body shape and knew exactly what would suit me, You had  listened to what I wanted and you managed to get it all together in one dress. When I walked out of the changing room to Mum and Kelly we all knew we had found the one.
 
After a month or so I had completely forgotten what my dress looked like so I called to see if I could come over again to try it on. Jacky told me you had moved to the new shop so I was even more excited to come over. Wow the shop is beautiful and suits the style of your service and dresses to a T.
 
I cant wait for my fittings in the new year and will defiantly be bringing my bridesmaids over. Thank you so much for what you have done so far.

Hi Jacky and Zowie
I meet these two fabulous ladies at my first wedding fair i went to i was drawn to there space because of there kelsey rose bridesmaids dresses and here i meet zowie and she said to come to there bridal shop so i did.When i first entered the shop Jacky and Zowie asked me if i minded finding the pefect dress for me that day as my wedding was still 2yrs away, i said i didnt mind thinking that we wouldnt find it little did i know that they are fanstastic after 4 or 5 dresses we found it, as soon as i put the dress on i knew that was what everyone was talking about when they said " you will know when you find YOUR perfect dress".

I cannot thank you guys enough for making me feel and look like a princess and my waist look so tiny.
I would recommend every bride 2 be to go here as they are two wonderful ladies they will make you look and feel gorgeous.

I highly recommend to all brides to be to visit these lovely ladies, as they make you feel so relaxed and they are honest with you and you feel like a star in all their dresses. Zowies sister is also just as lovely and shared my excitement over my dream dress i found. Signature Brides was the first dress shop I went to, and after trying on 3 dresses i found the dream dress. me and my bridesmaid cant wait to come back in November to find the bridesmaids dresses.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help on Saturday.  Having had an appointment at another bridal shop in the morning where the service was quite poor, I was feeling quite disheartened about whole process of finding my wedding dress which I’d been looking forward to so much.  But my appointment with you in the afternoon certainly made up for the bad morning!  You were both so friendly and helpful and made me and my friend feel so welcome.

The shop itself is beautifully decorated and I couldn’t believe that you had only moved into your new premises the evening before – you would never have guessed from looking around or from your calm and organised approach!  The selection of dresses are lovely and cover a range of budgets.

I was so glad to find my perfect dress from you and can’t wait for the fitting a few month’s time when I can try my dress on again.

As promised, I am writing this email to say thank you!

From calling to the make the appointment, I felt excited about coming in to see you. Even over the phone, you were excited about the dresses, which in turn made me excited. Having visited several other bridal shops, I was feeling more than a little despondent, as either the staff were stuffy or the choice of dresses was limited; I am a plus size bride. Walking into a shop that has so many dresses and being invited to pick out the ones I wanted to try and being able to try them on was fantastic. But it wasn’t just that; you allowed me to see the whole package: each dress with a veil, and a tiara and everything matched. You knew which style would suit me, but let me try others on so I could see for myself and make my own mind up. I wish you had been the first shop I went to; I would have been saved heartache. You were fantastic and I felt like a true bride, and I felt special! I am so happy that I am going to be a “Signature Bride” and that I truly did experience the wow experience (so much so, I burst into tears!), and I can’t wait to see you again in March (and my dress) and give you another big hug!

I would just like to say a big thank you for helping me find the perfect dress!

I thought you were really wonderful, getting to know a bit about me first, seeing the styles I like and then suggesting others! I felt so special having all the attention on me, which is so unlike the other wedding dress shops that I attended!

When I tried on the first dress I thought oh my god this is it, didn't think we would top it with the one I did buy!  To be fair, I don't think I liked 2 dresses from the same shop, but with yours there were so many!

I even had to go online and track down pictures of the dress so I could show my friends who can't attend the wedding, they loved it!

Sad as it is, I have to look at the pictures everyday, I'm so excited!

Once again, thank you for all the time and effort you put in on Saturday.  I have and will continue recommending you to everyone I know.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your time on Saturday and helping me find the most wonderful dress. I did not expect to find a dress striaght away.

I met you for the first time at the Hop Farm in January and we booked a appointment for July. Your words to me were "I want to find a dress for you that has the wow factor and not just one that is ok". You certainley did this on Saturday.

I had the most fantastic day and it will be a day that I will always remember.

You allowed me the time to pick as many dresses as I wanted and provided me your thoughts.

You both made me feel so welcome and comfortable and I can not wait to come back to your shop next year to collect my dress and bring my bridesmaids.

So all is left to say is a massive thanks again for all that you have done for me so far and look forward to seeing you again next year.
